Infants and Toddler Developmental Evaluation Services (ITDES)

Core Evaluations to determine a child’s eligibility for ongoing Early Intervention Services, are conducted by a multidisciplinary team of developmental specialists in the home, or at a location of the family’s choice.

Non-Physician Supplemental Evaluations are conducted to assess specific needs in one or more developmental domains.

The Evaluation process focuses on parent concerns, encourages parents to participate in the assessment, and provides parents with an immediate explanation of assessment results.

Infant and Preschool Developmental Services (IPDS)

Direct Intervention services are provided to infants/ toddlers and their families once eligibility has been determined.

Direct intervention can be given at home, at daycare programs, or at community preschools. Additionally, IPDS provides both Group Developmental experiences, and Parent/Child Group experiences including an Infant/Toddler Swim Program.

The cost of Evaluation Services and Direct Intervention Services are billed to a family’s medical insurance when such coverage is available. However, services will not be denied if a family has no insurance.
