Arc employees can develop a personalized benefit package by selecting medical, dental and/or vision coverage and voluntary benefit options to provide additional benefits to meet their needs and those of their family.  Unless otherwise stated, eligible employee refers to full time regular employees and part time regular employees who normally work 30 hours or more per week.

Medical:

  • Employee and dependent premiums are supplemented by the Agency
  • Domestic partner coverage available
  • Wellness incentive program available
  • Employer funded Health Reimbursement Arrangements

Dental/Vision:

  • Dental Guard PPO (Preferred Provider Organization)
  • Guardian VSP Vision network
  • In-Network and Out-of Network coverage available

Life Insurance:

  • Agency provided $25,000 policy
  • Additional life insurance available

Income Protection:

  • NYS Disability protection provided by the Agency
  • Additional short term disability available through NBL
  • Long Term Disability protection provided by the Agency
  • Additional long term disability available through LINCOLN

Retirement Plan:

  • Immediate pre-tax contributions to 403(b) by employees
  • 4% Agency contribution to qualified employees (per IRS regulations)
  • Up to additional 2% for those employees who contribute and meet plan requirements

  • Agency provided paid-in-full employee assistance program through Crouse HelpPeople for employees and their family members

Paid Time Off:

  • First year of employment paid time off is prorated
  • Vacation time is available after 6 months of employment and allotted time increases with length of service
  • 12 Agency provided Holidays per year inclusive of Floating Holidays to be taken at the employee’s discretion
  • 6 Sick days per year
